Netflix’s charming adaption of The Baby-Sitters Club books begins filming in Vancouver next year.

Target filming dates: February 20th – April 20th, 2021.

Adapted from Ann M. Martin’s books, season 2  of The Baby-Sitters Club  follows the adventures of five BFFs —  smart and spiky Kristy Thomas (Sophie Grace), bi-racial Mary Anne Spier (Malia Baker), artistic Claudia Kishi (Momona Tamada), former Manhattanite Stacey McGill (Shay Rudoph) and Dawn Schafer (Xochitl Gomez) — and their baby-sitting business in Stoneybrook, Connecticut.

Episodes: 10 half-hour episodes.

Cast: Sophie Grace, Malia Baker, Momona Tamada, Shay Rudoph, Xochitl Gomez, Alicia Silverstone, Mark Feuerstein.

Alicia Silverstone plays Elizabeth Thomas, the single mother of Kristy Thomas, and Mark Feuerstein is Watson Brewer, her love interest and future husband.

Based on Ann M. Martin’s best-selling book series, The Baby-Sitters Club follows the friendship and babysitting adventures of five best friends in Stoneybrook, CT, as the entrepreneurial girls maneuver the launch and success of their business while staving off competition and overcoming various growing pains along the way.
