And David Harewood is back in the Director’s chair for episode 7 of season 6 titled Fear Knot.
He shared a photo of himself Thursday doing double duty as the Martian Manhunter and director.

Has Melissa Benoist joined production after her Fall maternity leave?

The last episode David Harewood directed ended up being the season 5 finale after the pandemic prematurely shut down production last March.

What happened in the season 5 finale?
Supergirl teamed up with Lena Luthor to take down Lex and Leviathan.
Alex debuted her new suit.
Leviathan was defeated when Brainy bottled the immortals, seemingly sacrificing himself to save his friends.
And Lex Luthor lived on, of course.
Supergirl’s final season premieres late this Spring or early summer on The CW.
