Schmigadoon is a magical town where everyone acts as if they’re in a musical from the 1940s. Apple TV+’s musicals parody just released a first photo of the backpacking couple Melissa (Saturday Night Live’s Cecily Strong) and Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) who discover the town.
A couple goes on a backpacking trip designed to reinvigorate their relationship when they discover the magical town of Schmigadoon, in which everyone acts as if they’re in a studio musical from the 1940s. They then discover that they can’t leave until they find “true love.”
Cast: Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Dove Cameron, Aaron Tveit, Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Krakowski, Ariana DeBose, Jaime Camil and Ann Harada.
