RENEWED: SUPERMAN & LOIS With Tyler Hoechlin & Elizabeth Tulloch Renewed For Season 2 of Filming in Vancouver

Superman & Lois got an early renewal  today for season 2 of filming in Vancouver.

The series, which premiered last week, tells the story of  Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s new life in  Smallville with their two teen boys.

No less than Stephen Amell, the Green Arrow himself, raved about the 90-minute Superman & Lois premiere.

David Ramsey aka Diggle agreed.

Stephen Amell even facetimed Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch about it during a commercial break.

Superman & Lois had the most-streamed premiere in The CW’s history with 1.5 million streaming of the 3.25 million watching (Live+7).

The phenomenal multiplatform debut of Superman & Lois, which delivered for us in a big way on both a linear and streaming basis, is a testament to the creativity, hard work and dedication of the talented people who worked tirelessly in front of and behind the camera, especially in this challenging environment. In the pilot, Clark and Lois return to Smallville after Clark’s mother Martha Kent dies.

There Clark reveals to his sons Jonathan and Jordan that their father is Superman.

Later Clark & Lois discover their troubled son Jordan is manifesting superpowers.

For this and several other reasons, the family decides to make a new, quieter life in Smallville, but that will be upended by Captain Luthor (Wole Parks) and mogul Morgan Edge (Adam Rayner).

Characters:

Tyler Hoechlin is Superman/Clark Kent.

Elizabeth Tulloch is Lois Lane, the iconic DC reporter.

Jordan Elsass is the popular athlete Jonathan Kent and Alexander Garfin is Jordan Kent who prefers to spend his free time alone playing video games.

Inde Navarrette is their wild child daughter Sarah Cushing who comes in between the two Kent boys.

Wolé Parks is Captain Luthor, who’s hellbent on proving to the world that it no longer needs Superman.

Adam Rayner is Morgan Edge.

Sofia Hasmik as Chrissy Beppo, a reporter at the Smallville Gazette.

Stacey Farber as Lex Luthor’s right-hand woman Leslie Larr.

After months of delay, Superman & Lois  started filming in Vancouver last Fall.

Superman & Lois plans to be around for several seasons after constructing two long-term sets: the new Kent family house in Delta and the massive new Smallville set on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds.

The house is off River Road in Ladner.

Smallville:

The City of Surrey approved an initial three-year lease of portions of the Cloverdale Fairgrounds for the  Smallville set. The lease can be renewed.

Superman & Lois started filming at its new Smallville set on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds late last November with a big fire truck parked on set during a Saturday night shoot.
