Every warrior has a beginning.

Snake Eyes — with Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding as the ninja commando — is the origin story of one of the most popular G.I. Joe characters.

In the G.I. Joe origin story, the future commando (Henry Golding) seeks revenge for his father’s death by joining a ninja clan and finds acceptance there. Eventually he becomes the most popular member of the G.I. Joe team, has a special relationship with Scarlett (Samara Weaving), the female member of the team, and a constant companion in his wolf Timber. But he also has an arch enemy in his ninja blood brother Storm Shadow.

The trailer opens with a big highway action sequence filmed on an airport runway at Fort Langley Aviation.

Snake Eyes filmed all over Vancouver but was first spotted at Canfisco on Waterfront.

Filming a yakuza scene.

Snake Eyes was spotted next on the trails of Robert Burnaby Park.

And then on the highway it built in Fort Langley.

And in a motorcycle chase sequence overnight on downtown Vancouver waterfront.
