Netflix renewed the series last Fall but Space Force had to move production to Vancouver from Los Angeles to cut costs.
Space Force is centered around the people tasked with creating a sixth branch of the armed services.
Season 2 filming dates: May 10th to June 28th.

General Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell) is tasked by the White House with getting “boots on the moon” by 2024.
Brilliant, arrogant Head Science Advisor Dr. Adrian Mallory (John Malkovich) is hoping to prevent space from becoming the next great international battlefield.
Self-centered F. Tony Scarapiducci, (Ben Schwartz) is a media consultant whose Machiavellian goals only sometimes line up with those of Mark or Space Force.
Captain Angela Ali (Tawny Newsome) is a Space Force helicopter pilot and later, astronaut.

Erin Naird (Diana Silvers) is Mark’s daughter.
