PREVIEW: Sneak Peek of Syfy’s DAY OF THE DEAD Zombie Series at Comic Con

Syfy’s ode to George A. Romero’s zombie classic Day of the Dead reminds us that sometimes all it takes to bring people together is a horde of hungry zombies trying to rip them apart.

The series follows six strangers, as they try to survive the first 24 hours of an undead invasion.

Syfy released a sneak peek at today’s Day of the Dead panel at Comic Con @ Home.

[George Romero] established what we know as the modern zombie now in Night of the Living Dead and then in Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead — and everything else. He did it in a way that also added social commentary; it spoke to the times [in which] these movies were made … Every single zombie movie or TV show or graphic novel owes Romero for his legacy — Co-showrunner Scott Thomas at Comic Con @ Home.
