Apple TV+ thriller Surface starring Loki’s Gugu Mbatha-Raw is filming on a closed block of Downtown Vancouver today.
Surface is an elevated thriller about Sophie (Gugu Mbatha-Raw)’s quest to rebuild her life after a suicide attempt, and her struggle to remember – and understand – everything that led up to the moment when she jumped.

Surface started filming in Vancouver on June 25th.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Oliver Jackson-Cohen on Day 1.

Marianne Jean Baptiste is Hannah, Sophie’s therapist.
Millie Brady is Eliza, a mysterious woman with a connection to Sophie’s past.
