Today was Jensen Ackles’s last day of filming as Soldier Boy on The Boys season 3 in Toronto, exactly one year from his last day of filming as Dean Winchester on the Supernatural’s series finale in Vancouver.

The Boys is a show about a group of vigilantes who take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers.

Who is Soldier Boy?

He’s a big huge and interesting character and … is going to surprise a lot of people —Tomer Capon at Dragon Con.

Like Marvel’s Captain America, Soldier Boy fought the Nazis in World War II and was the original superhero made by diabolical corporation Vought Inc. in The Boys universe.

Ackles arrived in Toronto with a bushy beard five or six weeks into production of season 3 to quarantine and started filming April 19th.

Fans spotted him on set as Soldier Boy on May 31st looking washed up.

But when The Boys released the official photos on June 7th, he looked like a super hero.

He’s the f’n Captain now, America.
