A post-credits scene in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad movie teased the Peacemaker spinoff series, which filmed in Vancouver earlier this year.
It looked like Peacemaker (John Cena) would be one of the many casualties of Amanda Waller’s latest suicide mission, but in the post-credits scene her underlings Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) and John Economos (Steve Agee) find Peacemaker comatose in hospital. It’s this trio that teams up with Vigilante (Freddie Stroma replacing originally cast Chris Conrad), Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks) and team leader Clinton Murn (Chukwudi Iwuji) for the black ops mission of the series.
