THE BOYS Season 3 Debuts June 3rd on Amazon Prime With Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy

Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles shared an image of himself on set as Soldier Boy as Amazon Prime Video announced season 3 of its hit series The Boys would debut on Friday, June 3rd. Three of the eight episodes drop June 3rd, followed by new episodes each Friday until the season finale on July 8th.
The Boys is a show about a group of vigilantes who take down corrupt superheroes who abuse their superpowers.

Cast: Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles.
Laurie Holden, Sean Patrick Flanery, Miles Gaston, Nick Wechsler, Frances Turner, Kristin Booth and Jack Doolan will also appear.
Who is Soldier Boy?
He’s a big huge and interesting character and … is going to surprise a lot of people —Tomer Capon at Dragon Con.
Like Marvel’s Captain America, Soldier Boy fought the Nazis in World War II and was the original superhero made by diabolical corporation Vought Inc. in The Boys universe.

Soldier Boy was big in his day. Vought even made a movie about him called Red Thunder, released in 1983.
But Jensen Ackles arrived with a bushy beard in Toronto five or six weeks into production of season 3 to quarantine and started filming April 19th.

Fans spotted him on set as Soldier Boy on May 31st looking washed up.

But when The Boys released the official photos on June 7th, he looked like a super hero.
