Rescued by Ruby, the true story cop & canine movie starring The Flash’s Grant Gustin, will stream March 17th on Netflix..

State trooper Dan (Grant Gustin) dreams of joining the K-9 Search & Rescue team, but no one will give him the chance. Shelter dog Ruby dreams of having a home, but is running out of hope. When fate brings Dan and Ruby together, it’s their unshakable bond that helps them face their toughest challenge yet. Based on a true story.

Grant Gustin wrapped season 7 of The Flash on a May long weekend in Vancouver and went straight into filming Rescued by Ruby in Victoria until early July.

Based on the short stories Ruby: A Dogwink Story and Dogwink Ruby by SQuire Rushnell & Louise DuArt.

Then-pregnant LA Thoma Gustin & Grant Gustin spent late May, June and early July in Victoria , including the late June Heat Dome.
