Vancouver crew wore t-shirts with Allison Miller’s face and the slogan It’s Miller Time when she directed episode 4×17 but wore a hand-me-down with David Giuntoli’s face taped over Miller’s when it was his turn to direct 4×18.

Tonight I wrapped my first episode of television as a director. I am so grateful to this crew for supporting me in every way – namely the t-shirts from our A Cam operator and every single person who wore them on day 1 AND day 8. [Joanna Kerns] and [DJ Nash]thank you for trusting me to tell these stories from a different side of the camera. Thank you to the cast for endless cheerleading and INCREDIBLE performances. I am so lucky. I have wanted to do this for so many years and the job has brought me new levels of joy. I told the crew tonight that this has been one of the best experiences of my life and that’s 💯. A creative fever! I can’t wait to do it again
