CHESAPEAKE SHORES Starts Filming Season 6 – its Final Season – on Vancouver Island

Updated: Chesapeake Shores is back on central Vancouver Island to film the sixth and final season of the long-running Hallmark series about the multi-generational O’Brien family.

Filming dates: March 28 2022 – June 28 2022.

Showrunner: Phoef Sutton.

Abby O’Brien (Meghan Ory).

Jesse Metcalfe left the series early in season 5 with his character Trace Riley written out in the first two episodes and Robert Buckley joined as billionaire Evan Kincaid.

Season 6 begins on the same night where season 5 left off — we will find out who Abby called.

The O’Brien family: patriarch Mick (Treat Williams), divorced Mom and former NYC career woman Abby (Meghan Ory), B&B owner Jess (Laci J. Mailey), playwright turned bookstore owner Bree (Emilie Ullerup), soldier-turned-medic Kevin (Brendan Penny), lawyer Connor (Andrew Francis),  grandmother Nell (Diane Ladd) and once-estranged mother Megan (Barbara Niven).
