NBC Pilot For QUANTUM LEAP Sequel Turns Vancouver Into San Francisco During 1989 Earthquake

The NBC pilot for a sequel to the time-travelling Quantum Leap series is remaking two blocks of downtown Vancouver into San Francisco during the 1989 Earthquake.

It’s been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now a new team has been assembled to restart the project in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.

But when his successor Dr. Ben Seong (Raymond Lee) uses the Quantum Leap technology on himself, he ends up stuck in the late 1980s with amnesia.
