SUPERMAN & LOIS Teases Bizarro World Episode at WonderCon & Paley Fest in Los Angeles

Superman & Lois promoted their upcoming Bizarro World episode at WonderCon and Paley Fest this weekend.
ELAT YRANOITUAC A — Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) races through the portal after Ally Allston (Rya Kihlstedt), but when he arrives on the other side, he discovers everything on this parallel earth is… bizarre. Navigating his way through deceivingly familiar faces and landscapes, Superman goes on one wild ride in his fight to stop Ally from merging. Elizabeth Tulloch, Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin, Sofia Hasmik, Dylan Walsh and Emmanuelle Chriqui also star. The episode was directed by Louis Milito and written by Brent Fletcher & Todd Helbing (#210).
Bizarros in Bizarro World was meant to air this Tuesday but “unexpected covid-related shutdowns that nobody expected, nobody wants, nobody’s happy about” pushed it to April 26th, Bitsie Tulloch explained. “We’re trying to make a show and it is a pandemic and we’re doing the best we can .”

Superman is stuck in Bizarro world for only one episode, showrunner Todd Helbing told fans at WonderCon.
Question: Why doesn’t Superman & Lois mention the Flash or Supergirl or any of the other superheroes?
Todd Helbing says the show hasn’t been able to do Arrowverse crossovers because of the pandemic and because they wanted to put their own stamp on the Superman property but by the end of this season fans will get answers to why there’s no mention of the Flash, Supergirl . ..
Question: why is this Superman “five o’clock shadow Superman”?
Tyler Hoechlin said the decision for his Clark Kent/Superman to have a constant five o’clock shadow was made for a couple of reasons: When Tyler Hoechlin’s clean-shaven he doesn’t look old enough to be the father of teen boys and as a father this Superman has so little time to get things done shaving isn’t a priority..

Tyler Hoechlin plays multiple parts in the Bizarro World episodes, which he enjoys because he doesn’t like doing the same things over and over again — “The one thing I worry with TV is getting bored.”
Tyler Hoechlin says his role as a good father on Superman & Lois is a homage to his parents: “This job is a love letter to my parents…I basically get to pay homage to them by pretending to do what they did.”
