CBS Picks Up SO HELP ME TODD. Pilot Filmed in Vancouver. Will Series?

CBS has picked up drama So Help Me Todd, with Skylar Astin as black sheep P.I. Todd working for Marcia Gay Harden as his successful lawyer mom Margaret. The pilot filmed in Vancouver. Will the series?

The drama follows a talented but directionless P.I. Todd (Skylar Astin) who is the black sheep of his family, and despite their opposing personalities, agrees to work as the in-house investigator for his overbearing mother Margaret (Marcia Gay Harden), a successful attorney reeling from the recent dissolution of her marriage.

This is the pilot that had to pause production in Vancouver in the early days of filming in order to recast Geena Davis after she exited the Mom role.

Marcia Gay Harden flew in to assume the role.

The pilot shot in the TD Bank tower as the law firm on weekends.

Inga Schlingmann is Todd’s former girlfriend, who now works with his mother Margaret at her law firm.

Rosa Arrendondo is Margaret’s “Girl Friday” Francey at the law firm.

Tristan J. Winger is licensed investigator Lyle at Margaret’s law firm.
