Netflix Comedy BLOCKBUSTER Is Wrapping Filming of Season 1 in Vancouver
Netflix comedy Blockbuster, about working in the last Blockbuster video store, is wrapping filming in Vancouver.
With Randall Park as the store manager and Melissa Fumero as his #2.
In a world of perpetually available on-demand content, a group of nostalgic workers and their small-town community come together to try to save the last Blockbuster Video store in the world.

Melissa Fumero shared an image of the wrap day cake in an Insta-story.
Update: And regular director Paymen Benz shared a photo of the main set on Tuesday night.
Blockbuster has been filming for 10 weeks in Vancouver.
Filming dates: February 28th to May 3rd, 2022.
Showrunners:: Vanessa Ramos, David Caspe, Jackie Clarke.
Cast: Randall Park, Melissa Fumero, Tyler Alvarez, Madeleine Arthur, Olga Merediz as series regulars plus JB Smoove, Kamai Fairburn recurring.
Randall Park is Timmy, manager of the store.
Melissa Fumero from Brooklynn 99 is Eliza, Timmy’s #2 at the store..
Tyler lvarez is Carlos, the son of immigrants and an aspiring filmmaker works in the store.
Madeleine Arthur is Hannah, whose mother died when she was young so her Blockbuster co-workers are her family.
Olga Merediz is Connie, a mother figure to Blockbuster co-workers and many of the regular customers.
JB Smoove is Timmy’s best friend Percy who owns the strip mall and a party store.
Kamai Fairburn is Percy’s teen daughter who works in the Blockbuster store.
Filming in Vancouver:
Blockbuster regularly filmed in a store in Point Grey on Broadway between Waterloo and Collingwood.
