Paramount+ reversed last December’s third season renewal as the new season was “firming up its lead cast with big-name actors in negotiations to star [and] with production slated to start soon”, sources told Deadline: Hollywood. A commentator added Why Women Kill was still staffing as of last night and now about a 100 people are out of work.

Update: Why Women Kill had scheduled a shoot in Fort Langley on July 13th of a helicopter landing and taking off. The notice was sent out yesterday..
Why Women Kill ends with two seasons:
Season One focused on three women (Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin and Kirby Howell-Baptiste) grappling with infidelity.
Season Two was set in 1949 and focused on a woman (Allison Tolman) desperate to join an exclusive garden club who ends up killing the rich woman (Lana Parrilla) who runs it.
