Yellowjackets has been a sensation for Showtime, capping its inaugural season with seven Emmy nominations, including a coveted Outstanding Drama series.
Plus an Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series nomination for Melanie Lynskey as grownup survivor Shauna.
An Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series nomination. for Christina Ricci as Misty.
And two Outstanding Writing nominations, one Outstanding Directing nomination and one Outstanding Casting nomination.
Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.
