DC’s STARGIRL with Brec Bassinger Officially Ends With Season 3 on The CW

DC’s Stargirl is the latest DC casualty at The CW. Season 3 airing this Fall will be its last.

Filming on the series wrapped last March in Atlanta and season 3 premiered August 31st on The CW.

Stargirl creator Geoff Johns said, in a statement, that “with all the brewing changes at the network, we were aware this was possibly the last season so we wrote with that in mind and have delivered what I believe to be the best season of Stargirl yet, with complete creative closure.””

DC’s Stargirl  follows Courtney Vance (Brec Bassinger) and her stepfather Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) as she leads an unlikely group of young heroes to take on the legacy of DC’s very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America.

Starman (Joel McHale) is back from the dead in season 3 and offering to train Courtney, while she helps him adjust to his new life in the quiet town of Blue Valley. But when there’s a murder that needs to be solved, the mystery will not only have our heroes questioning the former super-villains’ commitment to truly reforming, but lead Courtney, Pat, and Starman to a secret that will shock them all to their very core.

Brec Bassinger has kept busy since DC’s Stargirl wrapped, starring as Dawn Cutler in Lifetime’s V.C. Andrews movies filming in Vancouver this Summer/Fall.
