NANCY DREW Season 4 With Kennedy McMann Will Be Its Last in Vancouver
Season 4 of Nancy Drew, with Kennedy McMann as the iconic young detective, will be the last filmed in Vancouver.
The decision to end the series reportedly was made before the departure of The CW’s Mark Pedowitz earlier this October and just ahead of Nexstar’s takeover of the network so the season 4 finale is written as a series finale.
Cast and crew were told in Vancouver this afternoon.

How did season 3 end?
Nancy stopped her de-aged ancestress Temperance Hudson from destroying the town of Horseshoe Bay in the season 3 finale and finally got together with Ace only to have him die in her arms one month later in a car crash filmed in Delta’s North 40 Reserve Park.

It turns out that happy month with Ace was a Temperance illusion to show Nancy what would happen if she ever acted on her feelings for him. So she pushes away a confused Ace to save his life.
And opens up Nancy Drew Investigations to devote her life to solving mysteries.
