THE GOOD DOCTOR Season 6 With Freddie Highmore’s Dr. Shaun Murphy Premieres Where it Left Off
The Good Doctor season 6 premiere tonight picks up where it left off with Freddie Highmore’s brilliant, autistic Dr. Shaun Murphy interrupted at his wedding by the news of a double-stabbing in the hospital.
Shaun (Highmore and Lea (Paige Spara) finally got married in a rooftop ceremony at St. Bonaventure in the season 5 finale, but the happy occasion ended in a cliffhanger: with Chief of Surgery Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) stabbed twice in the abdomen by left-for-dead Nurse Villaneuva (Elfina Luk)’s fleeing ex-boyfriend Owen.
The Good Doctor filmed the first two episodes of season 6 last Spring in Vancouver before the hiatus.
Christiana Chang shared a candid photo of the scene on her Instagram yesterday.
Will Dr. Lim survive?
Update: Dr. Lim survives surgery but she’s paralyzed.
