Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney celebrated their Welsh soccer team’s big win today, which will see the club move up to the English Football League, after fifteen years stuck in the National League.

Season 1 of FX doc-series Welcome to Wrexham followed Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they bought the Welsh club in 2020 and tried to revive it, using their celebrity to score a TikTok sponsorship deal for the 150-year-old club.
Season 2 is going to get a Hollywood ending with the team winning the National League championship and being promoted to League Two of the EFL.
Ryan Reynolds will be spending more time in the U.K. to oversee his team and to film Deadpool 3, which starts production on May 22nd. The first two movies about the Merc with a Mouth shot in Vancouver.
