Who’s In SCHMIGADOON! Season 2? Filmed in Vancouver with Broadway Cast

Welcome to Schmicago in Schmigaoon! season 2 streaming on Apple TV+.

The new season, where everyone acts like they’re in musicals Chicago, Cabaret, Sweeney Todd or Hair, filmed in Vancouver last summer with a Broadway cast.

Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) miss the magic they felt in Schmigadoon and in an attempt to return, find themselves in Schmicago—the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals.

The new season includes new original musical numbers from co-creator and executive producer Cinco Paul, as well as returning stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Ariana DeBose, Martin Short, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski, and Aaron Tveit with the addition of Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page.

In season one, backpacking couple Josh (Keegan-Michael Key) and Melissa (Cecily Strong) discovered a magical town Schmigadoon where everyone acted as if they were in musicals from the 1940s and 1950s — like Brigadoon, The Carousel, Oklahoma and The Music Man.
