We get a Star Trek: Lower Decks crossover episode guest-starring Jack Quaid (The Boys) as live-action Brad Boimler and Tawny Newsome as live-action Beckett Mariner in season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, premiering June 15th on Paramount+.
The crossover episode is directed by Star Trek: The Next Generation and Picard’s Jonathan Frakes and will have some animation.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows the voyages of Capt. Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) on the U.S.S. Enterprise, which predate the voyages of Capt. James T. Kirk on the U.S.S. Enterprise.

Captain Pike is now reconciled to his future and so the space adventure aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise continues with Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock and Rebecca Romjin as Number One Una.
Spock gets his own turn in the Captain’s chair with an awkward command.
