THE LAST OF US Wins Best Show, Duo & Hero at MTV MOVIE & TV AWARDS
HBO’s The Last of Us won Best Show, Best Duo (Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey) and even Best Hero (Pedro Pascal) at tonight’s MTV Movie & TV Awards, with Pedro Pascal accepting the Golden Popcorns in taped messages.
Host Drew Barry Barrymore pulled out of the awards show after the Writers Guild of America (WGA) went on strike last Tuesday and others refused to cross the picket line, turning what was conceived as a live event into one of mostly taped bits and acceptance speeches.
Best Show:
Stranger Things
The Last of Us
The White Lotus
Wednesday
Wolf Pack
Yellowstone
Yellowjackets
