Natalie present and past in a dreamlike sequence for the Yellowjackets season 2 finale.

Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.

The Yellowjackets will be looking for another shelter in season 3, after the cabin (a soundstage set in Vancouver) burns to the ground.

We knew we wanted to parallel the first hunt with the finale in our present day– Ashley Lyle.

Adult Natalie (Juliette Lewis), Misty (Christina Ricci), Shauna (Melanie Lynskey), Taissa (Tawny Cypress), Van (Lauren Ambrose) and Lottie (Simone Kessell) reenacted one of their ritualistic hunts from the wilderness at Lottie’s cult compound.

Misty is obsessed with Natalie. It’s the closest she’s ever come to having a friend. She’s not about to let that go, even if she ends upholding her so tight she crushes her — Christina Ricci.

Adult Lottie won’t be returning to her compound at Camp Green Pine (played by Camp Howdy in Belcarra) in season 3.

No one will. After Natalie’s death, the compound closes.
