Sandra Oh is back in Canada shooting a sci-fi feature in Powell River, B.C. Written and directed by fellow Canadian Ann Marie Fleming, Can I Get a Witness is about humanity’s collective decision to die at age 50 so that future generations can survive on the planet.
In a not-too-distant future, the survival of all species hinges on humans’ collective sacrifice of dying at age 50. As part of this effort, young artists fresh out of high school like Kiah are drafted into service to document End-of-Life protocols. This includes documenting the ceremony for Kiah’s own mother.
Sandra Oh and Anne-Marie Fleming have collaborated before on the animated feature Window Horses.

Can I Get A Witness?
Filming dates: July 10 2023 – July 28 2023.

I have an acreage available for rent for your film production crew for next couple of weeks.
I am located 5 km south on a waterfront piece of land of 2.5 acres . I can provide at least 7-8 beds in varying locations / styles on my land .
The main house has two bedrooms with an attached studio with one queen bed and the Quonset house has a bunk bed ( upper ) and a queen bed I.
The RV on the beach had a bunk bed a queen sofa bed and a queen main bedroom .
The little brand new beach cabin is right on the water where you can watch the seals play . It can house one or two people .
There are two bathrooms with two tubs/ showers in main house .

I am an accommodating and liberal woman who enjoys the world of hosting guests ! I can be involved as little or as much as you would prefer .
Also I have a friend who may be able to take out groups of 6-7 people on his trimaran for a sunset cruise ( if he’s not out racing around the gulf islands down south soon ! )
