New ABC Series HIGH POTENTIAL Pushed to Fall 2024 Due to Hollywood Shutdown

ABC’s new drama High Potential, starring Kaitlin Olson as a single Mom with an exceptionally high IQ, will be held until the Fall of 2024 because the Hollywood studios/streamers wouldn’t negotiate with striking writers and actors this summer..

The 148-day Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike ended this week after five days of bargaining which saw the writers finally get a “fair” deal from the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), but the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) strike continues

High Potential follows a single mom (Kaitlin Olson) with an exceptional mind whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective (Daniel Sunjata). Based on the French series Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI).

Audrey Fleurot starred in the French series HPI.

The pilot filmed in Vancouver last March.
