BC-filmed The Fall of the House of Usher rose to #1 on Netfli’x’s Global Top 10 TV (English) chart last week (October 16-22, 2023), as viewers around the world graded the Usher family deaths by how twisted and true-to-character they were.
Spoiler alert: Prospero Usher’s death at a sex party is a fan-favourite.
Mike Flanagan’s last horror series for Netflix dropped all eight episodes on October 12th and has a cumulative 1117.2 million hours watched and 14.2 million views (hours watched/run time) over 11 days so far.
In this wicked series based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, ruthless siblings Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline Usher (Mary McDonnell) have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege, and power.
But past secrets start coming to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman (Carla Gugino) from their childhood.

An Usher family dinner is different from most family dinners: it comes with NDAs to be signed and the promise of a $50 million bounty to whomever figures out who flipped on the family and became an informant for the assistant district attorney.
