THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER on Netflix: Where Did It Film in Vancouver?

Here are three big filming locations in metro Vancouver for Mike Flanagan’s last Netflix horror series The Fall of the House of Usher: the Holy Rosary Cathedral in downtown Vancouver for Usher family funerals; the “Arrow mansion” In Ladner for Usher family dinners; and the Vancouver Art Gallery (Law Courts) for a key trial.

In this wicked series based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe, ruthless siblings Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline Usher (Mary McDonnell) have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege, and power.

But past secrets start coming to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman (Carla Gugino) from their childhood.

Funeral for the three younger Usher heirs: Prospero Usher (Sauriyan Sapokota), Camille L’Espanaye (Kate Siegel), Napoleon “Leo” Usher (Rahul Kohli).

The cathedral is much emptier for the funeral of the three older Usher heirs: Victorine LaFourcade (T’Nia Miller), Tamerlane Usher (Samantha Sloyan, Frederick Usher (Henry Thomas).

An Usher family dinner is different from most family dinners: it comes with NDAs to be signed and the promise of a $50 million bounty to whomever figures out who flipped on the family and became an informant for the assistant district attorney.

Around the table are Roderick Usher (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline Usher (Mary McDonnell) and the 6 adult Usher children: eldest son Frederick Usher (Henry Thomas), eldest daughter Tamerlane Usher (Samantha Sloyan) and the four Usher “bastards”: Victorine LaFourcade (T’Nia Miller), Napoleon “Leo” Usher (Rahul Kohli), Camille L’Espanaye (Kate Siegel), Prospero Usher (Sauriyan Sapokota).

The same 72nd Street mansion in Ladner played the lit-up exterior of Roderick Usher’s house.
