After a long delay due to Hollywood work stoppages, season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds starts filming this December in Toronto.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows the voyages of Capt. Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) on the U.S.S. Enterprise, which predate the voyages of Capt. James T. Kirk on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Where did we leave the crew of the USS Enterprise in the season 2 finale?
Sometimes a monster is just a monster — Captain Pike about the human-eating lizards the Gorn.
The Gorn attacked a colony outside of Federation jurisdiction in the season 2 finale Hegemony and Captain Pike (Anson Mount) is warned not to aggravate the situation.
But with over 100 colonists and some of his closest crewmates held captive by the Gorn, as well as his girlfriend Captain Marie Batel (Melanie Scrofano), how can he not disobey those orders?
The finale ended with a “To Be Continued”.
On a lighter note, we got to meet the show’s version of the Enterprise’s future chief engineer: Martin Quinn as Lt. Montgomery Scott aka Scotty.
