New series Cruel Intentions, about manipulative Washington D.C. step-siblings, will air on Amazon’s Prime Video instead of its free streaming service Freevee.
Cruel Intentions resumed filming on November 18th in Toronto, after a long pause due to the Hollywood standoff with striking writers and actors.
Two ruthless step siblings (Sarah Catherine Hook and Zac Burgess) will do anything to stay on top of the Greek life hierarchy at an elite Washington, D.C. college. After a brutal hazing incident threatens the entire Panhellenic system, they’ll do whatever’s necessary to preserve their power and reputations — even seduce the daughter of the Vice President of the United States.
Adapted from the 1999 movie starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ryan Phillippe as wealthy teen step-siblings from Manhattan’s upper crust which in turn was adapted from the French novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses .

Brooke Lena Johnson as Beatrice, a reporter for the school paper and leader of the anti-Greek movement at the university.
