Netflix’s THE RECRUIT Season 2 Adds Teo Yoo As South Korean Agent. Filming in Vancouver.

Season 2 of Netflix’s spy thriller The Recruit starring Noah Centineo — which moved production from Montreal to Vancouver — adds Teo Yoo from Past Lives as a South Korean NIS agent. Filming starts early in January.

The Recruit follows inexperienced Owen Hendricks (Noah Centineo), a lawyer at the CIA who keeps getting entangled in dangerous international power politics. Season 2 finds Hendricks pulled into a life-threatening espionage situation in South Korea, only to realize that the bigger threat just might be coming from inside the Agency.

Season One ended on a cliffhanger with Owen (Noah Centineo) and former CIA asset Max (Laura Haddick) captured and their lives endangered.

I’m thrilled to dive back into the fun, funny, action-packed world of The Recruit. Seeing how invested our audience became in the show’s adventurous take on the spy world and Noah’s turn as Owen has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to turn it all up to “11” in Season Two. — showrunner Alexi Hawley.
