What adventures did the crew of the USS Enterprise have in season 2 ?
In season 2, Toronto played Toronto.
The Enterprise crew got animated in a crossover with Star Trek: Lower Decks.
And broke out singing in musical episode Subspace Rhapsody.
But ended on a serious note with the return of the Gorn.
Sometimes a monster is just a monster — Captain Pike about the human-eating lizards the Gorn.
The Gorn attacked a colony outside of Federation jurisdiction in the season 2 finale Hegemony and Captain Pike (Anson Mount) is warned not to aggravate the situation.
But with over 100 colonists and some of his closest crewmates held captive by the Gorn, as well as his girlfriend Captain Marie Batel (Melanie Scrofano), how can he not disobey those orders?
The finale ended with a “To Be Continued”.
On a lighter note, we got to meet the show’s version of the Enterprise’s future chief engineer: Martin Quinn as Lt. Montgomery Scott aka Scotty.
