Alan Ritchson Reveals REACHER Season 3 Adapted From Persuader Book Set in Maine

Alan Ritchson reveals Reacher season 3, currently filming in Toronto, is adapted from Lee Childs’s seventh Jack Reacher novel titled Persuader and set in Maine.

After leaving the US Army as a major in its military police, Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) roams the United States taking odd jobs and investigating suspicious and frequently dangerous situations.

In season 3, Reacher comes to the aid of DEA boss Susan Duffy, who has placed one of her agents in jeopardy at a heavily-guarded Maine mansion that is part of a vast criminal enterprise. Reacher goes undercover to rescue the agent and confronts a haunting foe from his past.

Alan Ritchson’s reveal:

Season one of the hit Prime series was adapted from the first Jack Reacher novel titled The Killing Floor set in Georgia.

And the recently concluded season two of Reacher was adapted from the 11th novel titled Bad Luck and Trouble about members of Reacher’s old 110th special investigators military unit turning up dead –, with the setting changed to New York and Atlantic City to better suit Toronto production.

Maria Sten’s former special investigator Frances Neagley has appeared in seasons one and two and is back for season three — which will do some on-location filming in Newfoundland as Maine in July.
