Vancouver has been a second home to the cousins for years as Stephen Amell starred as Oliver Queen / the Green Arrow for eight seasons of Arrow and Robbie Amell filmed one season of The Tomorrow People,, a season of The Flash and has starred in three seasons of Prime’s digital afterlife comedy Upload, so far.
Code 8 is a collaboration of the cousins filmed in their hometown of Toronto.
The first one was fan-made ($3.4 million in crowdfunding) and picked up by Netflix and the second one was made by Netflix (studio budget) and streams February 28th on the global platform.

Stephen Amell appeared at last year’s Fan Expo Vancouver, where he teased a new movie he was working on — which turned out to be Calamity Jane with his Arrow co-star Emily Bett Rickards.
