WHEN CALLS THE HEART Season 11 Enters 1920s With New Romance. Premieres April 7th.

When Calls the Heart enters the 1920s with Erin Krakow’s Elizabeth Thatcher in a new romance with Kevin McGarry’s Mountie Nathan Grant in season 11 premiering April 7th on Hallmark.

Elizabeth’s engagement to Chris McNally’s Lucas Bouchard fell apart at the end of last season, pleasing some “Hearties” and angering others.

Schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton [Erin Krakow] embarks on a fresh start — with new romance, new challenges, and new style. She and Mountie Nathan Grant [Kevin McGarry] navigate their growing romantic feelings while also leaning on each other for support as they face new parenting obstacles.

Newly elected Governor Lucas Bouchard [Chris McNally] must confront his past in order to embrace his strengths and lead Hope Valley into the future. Retired Mountie Bill Avery [Jack Wagner] and newspaper reporter Rosemary Coulter [Pascale Hurton] team up to unravel a mystery putting their entire community at risk. This season explores renewal, redemption, and of course romance as Hope Valley enters the 1920’s.

When Calls the Heart filmed the new season last summer in Vancouver’s “Hope Valley” — the Jamestown set at Macinnes Farms in Langley — after signing a SAG-AFTRA Interim agreement that allowed them to use guild performers during the strike.
