What’s the hit CBS series about?

Seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence, convict Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot) joined an inmate firefighting program in season one that returned him to his small Northern California hometown Edgewater, where he and other inmates worked alongside his family and other elite Cal Fire firefighters from Station 42 to extinguish massive blazes across the region.

Then in the season one finale, Bode tanked his own parole, sacrificing himself for fellow inmate and friend Freddy (W. Tre Davis).

In last week’s season 2 premiere, the show’s writers got Bodie out of prison and back on the Third Rock crew, bringing his cell mate Cole (Tye White) with him.
