Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland is a new recruit to the top-secret Night Action program as season 2 of Netflix’s massive global hit The Night Agent powers up production for a 2024 premiere.
Filming of season 2 began in January on location in Thailand,, but the new season takes place mainly in New York City, where Peter Sutherland will train and work in Night Action, the off-the-books program under the president that investigates the cases that traditional intelligence agencies won’t touch.
With great success comes a bigger budget and more expensive filming locations. Production moved from season one’s Vancouver as Washington, D.C. to season 2’s New York City as itself with on-location shooting in Thailand and Washington D.C.
Returning for season 2 is Luciane Buchanan as Rose Larkin, a former Silicon Valley CEO and Peter’s love interest.
Joining for season 2 are Amanda Warren as Catherine Weaver, head of the Night Action program in New York ; Brittany Snow as Alice, Peter’s partner and mentor in his first assignment in Night Action; Teddy Sears as Warren, a high-level intelligence officer who becomes the subject of a Night Action investigation; Arienne Mandi as Noor, a low-level aide in the Iranian mission to the United Nations in New York; Louis Herthum asJacob Monroe, an international businessman with global connections that he uses to obtain valuable information; and Berto Colonas as Solomon, a former Marine turned right-hand man/fixer.

Where did we leave Peter Sutherland in the season finale?
Low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who manned a phone that never rang in the basement of the White House until the night that it did, was propelled into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that led all the way to the Oval Office.
We last saw Peter saying goodbye to Rose (Luciane Buchanan) and flying off to his new assignment.
