FIRE COUNTRY Episode With Morena Baccarin Filming This February in Vancouver

Potential Fire Country spinoff Sheriff Country, starring Morena Baccarin as an Edgewater Sheriff’s Deputy, is filming this February in Vancouver.

Sheriff’s Deputy Mickey Price (Morena Baccarin) grew up in the hills of Humboldt County, raised by hippy parents who were marijuana farmers. Over the years she has seen firsthand the violence surrounding the weed business. Her relatively quiet life is thrown into disarray with the retirement of Fred Watkins, her mentor.

Mickey soon finds herself in a race for Sheriff… a race pitting her against her ex-husband Tim. Imagine her surprise when Tim’s family, the O’Briens – old Edgewater logging money – come out in support of her candidacy as opposed to their son’s. And when a murder rocks Edgewater, what at first seems cut and dried soon begins to lead Mickey to suspect there’s corruption that runs deep … even inside her own family.

What’s Fire Country about?

Seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence, convict Bode Donovan (Max Thieriot) joined a firefighting program in season one that returned him to his small Northern California hometown Edgewater, where he and other inmates worked alongside his family and other elite Cal Fire firefighters to extinguish massive blazes across the region.

Then in the season one finale, Bode tanked his own parole, sacrificing himself for a fellow inmate and friend. How will the show’s writers get Bodie out of prison and back on the Third Rock inmate firefighting crew?

Fire Country Season 2 premieres February 16th with Bode in prison and an earthquake rocking Edgewater.

“Something’s Coming” – Bode is back in prison where he receives some shocking news. Meanwhile, the station 42 crew responds to a massive earthquake that rocks Edgewater to its core.
