Congratulations to cousins Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell on the success of their Code 8 franchise filmed in their hometown of Toronto.
Sequel Code 8: Part II is the #1 film on Netflix in its premiere week with 20 million views and the fan-made original is #4 with 7.8 million views.

Code 8 is a collaboration of the cousins filmed in their hometown of Toronto.
The first one was fan-made (more than $2 million in crowdfunding) and picked up by Netflix.
The second one was made by Netflix (studio budget) and got a big promotional push.
The Code 8: Part II duo appeared at Fan Expo Vancouver on February 17th.
