New Fox medical drama series Doc, starring Molly Parker as a Doctor with a brain injury, adds cast — Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Eckler and Anya Banerjee. Production on the series started last last month in Toronto.

Doc follows the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Elias (Molly Parker), Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis. After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away.
She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.

Jon Eckler is Dr. Jake Heller, the Chief Resident and the man who Amy loves though she has no recollection of him now.
Anya Banerjee is Dr. Sonya Maitra, a 3rd year resident, who’s tasked with taking care of Amy after her accident.
Recurring: Scott Wolf, Patrick Walker.
Scott Wolf is Dr. Richard Miller, an attending physician who’s back in the top job after Amy’s accident.
Patrick Walker is Dr. Theodore “TJ” Coleman, a first-year resident whose inspiration to become a doctor was Amy.
