Prime Video’s Cross series, starring Aldis Hodge as Washington DC detective Alex Cross, has started production on season 2, before season one has a premiere date.
Isaiah Mustafa’s detective John Sampson , Samantha Walkes’s Elle, Johnny Ray Gill’s ex-police officer and bad guy Bobby Trey and Alona Tal’s FBI agent Kayla Craig return.
Joining Aldis Hodge in season 2 are Jeanine Mason, Wes Chatham and Matthew Lillard.
Cross is a twisted thriller about Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify — and ultimately capture — the murderer
Cross s brilliant, flawed, and full of contradictions. A doting father and family man, Cross is single-minded to the point of obsession when he hunts killers. He is desperate for love, but his wife’s murder has left him too damaged to receive it.
Cross is adapted from James Patterson’s best-selling books.
