Tatiana Maslany will star as the young Mom who has a an affair with the beast in her son’s closet in Amazon pilot The Nightbeast, filming this July in Vancouver.
A young mother (Tatiana Maslany) who is unsatisfied with her seemingly perfect suburban life, begins an affair with the boogeyman in her son’s closet – a surprisingly sexy man called the Nightbeast. But this harmless affair she thought to be a figment of her imagination begins to have unexpected consequences, as her two worlds increasingly begin to collide in this seductive, darkly comedic tale.
This seems on brand for this Emmy-winning actor-chameleon who played 17 different clones in Orphan Black and followed that up with a turn as Marvel’s She-Hulk.
Maslany was in Vancouver earlier this year to co-star with Theo James in The Monkey, a Stephen King short story adaption from writer-director Osgood Perkins.
