The first two BC-filmed Sonic the Hedgehog movies centred on Sonic’s defence of his family and friends in the small town of Green Hills (played by Ladysmith and Fort Langley) from Jim Carrey’s evil Dr. Robotnik.
The UK-filmed Sonic the Hedgehog 3 goes bigger, with Sonic turning to former foe Dr. Robotnik for help in battling new rival Shadow the Hedgehog in London and elsewhere on the planet.

For this and other reasons, Sonic 3 moved production from Vancouver to Pinewood Studios in the U.K.
After a long strike delay, cameras started rolling on Sonic 3 in late November last year and wrapped in March this year.
In the trailer above, we get a first look at Shadow the Hedgehog, aka the anti-Sonic, voiced by the one and only Keanu Reeves.
