Samantha Hanratty shared a heartwarming video today of surprising her Yellowjackets castmates and crew with the news of her pregnancy back in May at the start of season 3 production in Vancouver.

Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.
Season 3 started filming mid-May in Vancouver and wraps this October.
[Season 3 will be] even more shocking and surprising than the previous seasons. It’s definitely going to be brutal. But they also put a lot of comedy into it. So I think it’s just going to be … extremely Yellowjackets-y — Christina Ricci told The Hollywood Reporter in June.
Longer synopsis:
Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.
