The plan is to shoot season 2 and season 3 closely together before the young cast ages out of their characters.
Three seasons to conclude the Netflix saga mirrors the three-season run of the beloved Nickelodeon anime series.
Avatar: The Last Airbender: Aang (Gordon Cormier) and his friends Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) must save the world by defeating Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim) and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation.
The four nations – Air, Water, Earth, Fire – unite “to bring The Legend of Aang to its proper conclusion”.
