Season 2 of Vancouver crime drama Sight Unseen, about a blind, former homicide detective (Dolly Lewis) solving cases with the help of a visual assistance guide (Agam Darshi), is in production.
Sight Unseen centres on Tess Avery (Dolly Lewis), a top homicide detective who’s forced to quit her job after nearly killing her partner Jake Campbell (Daniel Gilles) and being declared clinically blind. Haunted by a case she left behind, and unwilling to accept her diagnosis, Tess forms an unorthodox partnership with a remote seeing eye guide, Sunny Patel (Agam Darshi), to continue her work.

How did season one end?
We learned that Sunny is a fugitive, accused of killing her former lover Rigby Daniels, a married professor, several years ago. Tess doesn’t believe she did it and the finale revealed that Police Superintendent Bennett (Roger Cross) might be involved..

The procedural with a twist is a co-production with The CW, but there is no word yet on whether the American network will order season 2, as well.
